Light status table

Light Color Pattern Meaning What to do
Router ring LED Magenta Solid On a NETGEAR Orbi router, a solid magenta ring light means the Orbi has no Internet connection. Check the modem, internet service, Ethernet connection, and Orbi WAN connection.
Satellite ring LED Blue Solid for about 3 minutes On a NETGEAR Orbi satellite, a solid blue ring for about 3 minutes means the satellite has a good backhaul connection to the router. No fix is needed. Leave the satellite in place if performance is good.

Before replacing parts

Check the exact light name, color, and blinking pattern. Many devices use similar lights for very different states, such as setup mode, firmware updates, charging, connection attempts, paper jams, or failed pairing.
